When you use Studorship, we collect: your name, phone number or email, profile photo, location (country and area), messages you send within the app, materials you upload, and usage data such as which features you use.
We use this information to match students with tutors, enable communication between users, personalise study recommendations, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Your name and profile photo are visible to other users you interact with. Your phone number is only shared with a tutor or student once a tutoring match is confirmed. Messages are visible only to participants in that conversation.
Studorship is used by students of various ages, including minors, under the supervision of a parent or guardian where required. We do not knowingly collect more information from children than necessary to provide the tutoring service, and we encourage parents to review their child's account activity.
You can update or delete your profile information at any time from within the app. You can block or report other users. You can request full account deletion, which removes your profile, materials, and activity from our systems.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure, with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
